EuroCham Myanmar serves as the voice of European business in Myanmar, contributes to a better business climate in the country and promotes trade and investment relations with the EU.

EuroCham Myanmar is looking for a young professional that wants to start a career in international business and to gain top experience portfolio with a vast international network of CEO's, diplomats and other government officials.


EuroCham Myanmar is now offering an interesting and challenging internship opportunity for post-graduates that are curious about the workings of EU business in frontier markets. You can expect a professional and international work environment at the interface between the European business community and the Myanmar government.

One of the main activities of EuroCham Myanmar is Advocacy. EuroCham Myanmar supports its members in representing their business interests towards the Myanmar government. The input and direction comes from EuroCham’s advocacy groups that consist of member companies. The overall goal is to jointly advocate higher standards in trade and investment in Myanmar in different sectors for Energy, Legal, Health, Construction, Logistics, Agribusiness...). This entails working with members and the wider EU community in Myanmar in order to develop policy measures and support schemes for European businesses on the ground. EuroCham Myanmar is looking for interns to be in support of the Advocacy Groups.

Tasks include: setting up meetings with the members, participate in monthly meetings, drafting the meeting minutes, support the group members in drafting official letters to the government, support EuroCham Advocacy Task force in identifying relevant government counterparts, monitoring of legislative updates.

Minimum duration: 3 months.

Opportunity to transform the internship in a full-time job (1 year contract) if the internship is successful.

  • Excellent command of English
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Undergraduate degree or previous professional and/or volunteering experience
